Adsense Authors: Who Are These People?

Adsense is a program designed by Google to help publishers monetize their websites using high contextually-accurate ads. Adwords is the other side of the coin which allows any person to create an account with Google and bid on keywords or key phrases to have their ads appear in either the search results ad placements, or in content sites that display Adsense ads.

Over the past few months I’ve identified a group of authors, writers, and publishers that I call: “Adsense Authors.”

Disciplining Yourself to Write - How to Create a Writing Schedule

By Laura J. Thompson

Disciplining yourself to write isn’t an easy task, but you’ll get better at it with time. The trick to this is creating a writing schedule which forces you to write every day. If you don’t have a schedule, you’ll wind up watching television, reading books and surfing the Internet rather than creating your latest story or article.

The problem that many writers face is that there are only twenty-four hours in a day. You have to set aside time to sleep, eat, socialize with your family and go to your day job, if you have one. This leaves precious few hours to actually write, which is why you have to examine your typical day and determine when it will be most convenient to write.

Website Promotion – Where To Get Ideas For Writing Articles

By Charles EssmeierSome six weeks ago, I began writing and submitting articles to free content sites in order to promote the six commercial Websites I own. The results have been both swift and dramatic, and the number of links from external Websites to my own Websites has increased from nearly nothing to more than 10,000 in a little more than a month. These results have inspired me to write more articles, and as I own six different Websites, I have six different topics to choose from. Still, my ideas occasionally run dry and that certainly happens to others who write articles for their own Websites. Writing and submitting articles on a regular basis does a lot for promoting your Websites, but where can you find more ideas for articles when you run out?

Article Writing And Making A Name For Yourself On The Net

By Kevin Rockwell

There has been much written and discussed about how you can distinguish yourself and generate traffic to your website through article writing and submission. However I wanted to make some comments and give you an insight into my story and that of several of my web friends who have successfully used this strategy.

The first thing I would tell you is that this is one method of generating buzz, traffic, and thus income for you and your web site that is not a hype that is only for the top level marketers. Don’t make this mistake of underestimating the power of getting your name out on the web and letting visitors find you through as many possible channels as you can. When I was first told that I needed to write articles (300-500 words, not too much work really) about my niche and submit them to the article directories on the internet I was skeptical and to be honest overwhelmed at the thought of actually doing it.

How to Catch the Writing Bug

By Stephen Bucaro

If you earn income as a writer, or use writing as a marketing tool, you know how difficult it can be at times to write. I started writing for my website and newsletter a few years ago. Sometimes it would be two or three weeks between articles. Sometimes writing would be torture. Then one day I caught the writing bug.

Now I write two or three articles each day. I don’t have to struggle for topic ideas. I have thousands of good ideas to choose from. Instead, now I struggle to limit the scope of areas that I will write about. What happened to cause this change? I caught the writing bug.

How To Write Powerful Headlines

By Al Martinovic

I want to tell you how I go about writing headlines. I like to keep swap files of headlines around for future use. And how I go about doing it goes something like this…

I’ll find a headline I like, wherever it may be, and then I don’t copy it word for word, instead I’ll use a “fill in the blank” approach. That way I get a generic headline that I can apply to almost any business.

3 Steps To Quickly Writing Ezine Articles

By Lisa Sparks

Come on, admit it: Whether you’re a professional writer or not we all draw a blank when we want to write an ezine article.

I’ve found an answer to that dilemma that will get you writing in no time so that you can publish your ezine article and begin to receive that new wave of subscribers you’ve been hoping for. Here’s how to get the lead out if you draw a blank:

1. Write your action steps first.
Forget about the catchy headline and attractive lead paragraph for now. There’s no use in cleverly leading a reader into an article that has no real value to them. So start where you build your credibility, right in the action steps. Of course you want to identify your subject and then tell them how to make their lives easier. For instance, plumbers are always going to have to fix pipes, it’s the nature of their business. If you have an ezine to others in the plumbing industry, write about a new technique in the industry on sealing pipes or preparing them for the winter, etc.
